Sky Primary

Welcome to our website, and thank you for taking the time to find out a little bit more about our exciting school, Sky Primary and Eden Project Nursery. We are a new school that opened in September 2022 and will, over the next few years, grow in size so that we have up to 236 children between the ages of 3 and 11 who all have a love of learning that has been ignited through ‘Learning Beyond the Classroom’.

Through out partnership with other schools within our Kernow Learning family we are building a foundation for lighting children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for learning where they can flourish, thrive and form friendships with nature inspired learning at the heart of all we do.

Our unique and innovative curriculum, incorporating national programmes of study, aims to offer exceptional education using enquiry-based learning, enriched with sustainability, global citizenship and thereby pushing out the classroom walls. We are so lucky to have such an amazing environment and heritage in which to build our knowledge and skills with inspiring real-life experts to help us.

At the very roots of our education is our partnership with the Eden Project where our Nursery children can enjoy exploring play-based opportunities and our outdoors environment.  We know this approach leads to significant benefits for children’s health, happiness and wellbeing.

Our School values flow through our everyday ways of being – inspiring, creative, active, nurturing, connected and curious and include children, families and our community. They are also reflective of our Trust’s Core Shared Values as well as our Trust Philosophy of ‘work hard, be honest & help others’.

We are ambitious and know that Sky Primary children will be able to make a difference to the world they live in with a teaspoons of change approach – making a difference one step at a time.  We will equip them to be solution focused citizens who can think globally and act locally.
